Quebec's modular manufacturers ship their modules by road across the whole province: no factory needs to be established in the Témiscamingue sector to deliver a project there. Procedures and regulations
Two levels govern construction on this territory. The Témiscamingue MRC adopts the regional land-use plan (schéma d'aménagement), which sets broad land designations across the sector; each municipality, for its part, issues building permits and applies its own zoning by-law. Before buying land or signing with a manufacturer, check with the municipality concerned what the target zone allows.
